香港物流管理人員協會是物流業管理者的專業團體。其宗旨: 凝聚物流管理人仕, 促進政府推動及支持香港物流業的發展, 進一步提高香港作為國際物流中心的地位。

    協會的工作目標是: 使協會成為物流從業人員進修學習、交流經驗、互通信息、交友聯誼的平台; 成為匯集業內意見, 向政府建言獻策和互相溝通的橋樑; 成為促進香港和內地同業聯繫交流的媒介與紐帶。

    協會於1986年由一群熱心的航運界前輩創建。二十年來, 與時俱進, 適應社會變革, 從海運到物流, 經歷屆理事會和會員們的努力工作, 協會會務發展日隆, 並得到業內人士的肯定, 以及社會與政府的認同。

INTRODUCTION

The Hong Kong Logistics Management Staff Association is a professional fraternity in Hong Kong with an objective to gather all related industry personnel to develop the logistics industry in Hong Kong and to enhance Hong Kong’s position as a leading international logistics hub.

It is also the goal of the Association is to offer a platform to those in the logistics industry to further their knowledge, exchange their experiences and information, and to create friendships within the field and with other industries through active interaction with them. The Association also reflects, co-ordinates, and proactively makes proposals to the Hong Kong SAR Government. It acts as a coordinator and intermediary between the authorities and the industry, as well as enhances mutual understanding and co-operation between the logistics sectors in the Mainland and the Hong Kong SAR.

The Association was established in 1986 by a group of professionals in the shipping and maritime industry. In the past 20 years, the Association has kept pace with social and industrial transformation and adjusted itself to meet the new challenges of the logistics era. With the dedication and enthusiasm of its members, the Association has successfully built up its reputation and earned support from the industry. Its status in the logistics industry has been well recognized by the society and the authorities in Hong Kong, Mainland and elsewhere in the Region.

The Association cordially invites all personnel in the logistics industry, which may include air freight, sea freight, road transport, shipping, maritime, warehousing, cargo distribution, packaging, consolidation, and so forth to join the Association, in order to establish a comprehensive fraternity to attain the goal of building Hong Kong as the preferred international logistics hub.
